Children Options:

We'd love to have your family on tour with us! We understand that your child may have a different bike-riding ability than others their age. To accommodate young children or those uncomfortable with their own bike, we have two special options available.

When booking for kid's equipment, select the number of total passengers (adults, kids and infants), then indicate which kid's equipment you'd like to reserve under "Exclusive Options."

For children weighing up to 30kg (65lbs), we have traditional trailers that can be left open or zipped up to fully enclose the passenger. Children riding in a trailer should be able to understand and follow parental instructions. A trailer is not recommended for very small children that could possibly release their security straps and attempt to climb out of the trailer while moving.

For children up to 12 years old or 45kg (100lbs), we have 2-wheeled tag-along tandems. The child passenger sits on a seat and can pedal or coast. All riders over 45kg (100lbs) must ride their own bicycle. This is not an option for adults or anyone over the weight or age limit.

Kid's BIkes:

Kid's Mountain Bike - 20-inch Wheels

Our smallest bike is recommended for children who are comfortable with hand-brakes and shifting gears. Although we don't ride at a fast pace on our tours, your child will be more comfortable with the starting and stopping involved if they can shift gears with confidence. It is also highly important that your young rider can ride in a straight line, both for their safety and the safety of others on the tour.

Kid's Mountain Bike - 24-inch Wheels

This medium sized mountain bike still has a low standover for good leg clearance. Our 24-inch bikes have been improved to utilize 7 gears and hand-brakes. Your child should be comfortable with changing gears and riding in a straight line at the same.

Adult Bikes:

California Beach Cruiser

Sit back and relax while cruising on our big blue California style Beach Cruisers. They have 3 speeds, fat tires, and a comfy seat. You definitely shouldn't break a sweat while touring with us on one of these rolling couches.

Ladies' California Beach Cruiser

We're not gender-biased so if Red is your color, by all means feel free to ride this slightly smaller and easier to ride version of the California Beach Cruiser. The top tube dips a bit so stepping on and off is easier. Smaller teens and big kids are usually more comfortable on a red bike versus a blue bike due to the lower standover height.
